Hamatocaulis vernicosus

  • Slender green feather moss is a straggling moss, which has green to brown erect shoots, with hooked tips, reminiscent of a walking stick. This trait is referred to by the scientific name Hamatocaulis, which derives from the Latin for 'hooked stalk'.
