  2. Monkshood is a tall plant that grows from 2 to 4 feet tall. The leaves are deeply divided, usually into 5 parts and each of those parts is then divided again into 3 parts. The flowers are purple to dark blue and are helmet shaped. Monkshood is common in woodlands and meadows. Do not eat monkshood, it is very poisonous!!
